So I bought this 04 1500 and it's with all movements. Not sure if it is control arms needing be replaced or sway bar, I've looked up several videos but none really helped, any advice/help is appreciated

Start spraying penetrating oil onto one part at a time then bounce truck checking for noise , on my old 04 my ball joints made a hell of a lot of squeaky noise any time it moved .

One reason why I hated when they went where you had lube points on ALL suspension and drive shaft etc to the for life BS, that just does not always do as advertised. Even though PPL thought aha, no lube service, I would rather go under a truck once a year than have to put up with all those squeaks and rubs when the parts get older and weathered. Just my skeery BOIRD thoughts.

ADDED: Lets not even open up the can of worms: Lifetime Transmission Fluid, etc.

I also have a 2004 1500 4X4 that had the most annoying squeaking in the front suspension. I tried spraying and lubricating everything and never really got it to stop. I ended up rebuilding the whole entire front steering and suspension, now its as quiet as it was when new. Upon disassemble I discovered that most of the noise was coming from the upper control arm bushings.
