Just got the truck and it had been washed and scrubbed and spit shined, just wondering if I need to look for a spot to put a grease gun, I have not been underneath the truck yet to even take a look.

It is an 03 with 66k. Any tips or help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hmm dry ball joints tend to squeak when you turn the wheel.

Bro it is you lower ball joints trust me I know! I have been dealing with it for a long time! If you take a can of lubricating oil, and stick the red straw through the rubber boot of the lower ball joint and drench it turn the wheel some and do it again... It'll destroy the squeak and that's how you know they are the problem! I have been riding quiet for the past month and now just need to spray some more oil in them! Then it'll be quiet again :)

Since I am getting a three in lift kit and installing it in my garage.. I'm ordering moot lower ball joints from eBay which is $40 each... ( same exact part number and hardware included at AutoZone or discount auto... And those stores charge $80 a pop) and will be installing the new ball joints when my suspension it already taken apart :)

Edit: As far as the grease gun... I don't believe we have a spot for them in our balljoints... But if you get tired of spraying oil in it just take the grease gun shove it in the cracked rubber boot and grease away at it and it may last a little longer

I've got a similar issue on my 05, but it's the seal on the rack and pinion. Only permanent fix on it is to replace the rack and pinion, so every time it squeaks I just squirt the seal with some lubricating oil and its good for a while. Just thought I'd throw that up here in case it isn't your ball joints.
