Stainless system

Anyone running a full stainless exhaust system? I'm gonna have to replace my muffler prolly in the spring as I already have a couple rusted out holes in it and I was thinking about going the true duals route plus all stainless. I know it's gonna be $$ for stainless, but wondering just how much so I have an idea. Thx

not cheap at all. You have to consider how many more years are you keeping your truck to warrant a full SS system that will outlast your truck. I would just go aluminized steel and call it done. That will last at least another 5 or more years. I'm sure by that time you will want another truck

couldnt tell you but at least half of a full SS cat back system

Wendy what are you ultimately wanting to do? Just SS exhaust or are you going to do headers, x-pipe, etc?

The bolt on borla ss system lists for under a grand last time I checked. The wife's 05 has that on it and is a great system, lucky we got it used for 300.

I was just thinking about doing exhaust, no headers or anything like that.

If you buy the mufflers and tips separate it shouldn't be any more that a couple hundred for the piping to be ran for the aluminized..... That's how much it usually runs here in Fl.

Had that setup on mine for years and liked it a lot before deciding to go headers and a louder muffler. Sold it for like $125 pr close to it (bought it for around $800 new though ugh what was I thinking )

^Yeah its a nice system with a mellow tone. Couldnt pass up the deal the guy gave me on that and a few other odds and ends for both trucks.
