Stalling issues at idle

Hey guys.
Been having an ongoing issue with my 2010 Dodge Ram 5.7 Sport. It has been stalling when at a light or parking. works fine the rest of the time. I have taken it to the dealer a couple times now and so far have replaced coils plugs and yesterday the throttle body. This has become quite frustrating.

Was wondering if anyone had suggestions of other thins to try? Hard for the deal to pinpoint when it cannot be recreated on command.

Could be an intake gasket leaking. I know on the older engines I'd just use a can of. Brake clean and spray at each port where the intake runner meets the head. If it revs up that's where ur leak is at. Be super Carful when doing this. Make sure u have an extinguisher or hose near by just in case you get a backfire.

Hey thanks Brandon. I have been suggested that as well but i was also told that if it were the problem then i should be seeing a difference in performance while driving as well as idle. Not sure if this correct tho.

When Ive dealt with issues like that there were no issues with performance or top end just at idle and low end acceleration.

Could also be the throttle position sensor.

i have the stall, only sometimes, at stop lights or signs. I researched this and cleaned the throttle body today. Can only let time see if this solves the problem.

I tried that as well. It did make a small difference ( used to stall when accelerating at light and now when coming to full stop). Hopefully you have better luck

I have seen post of low level transmission fluid causing stalling at idle when in drive.
Might want to check it out.

What's the rpm in park & drive?

In Park it has a steady idle of between 6 n 700. When in drive its normally about 600 but when i stop sometimes it drops to 400 and either quickly recovers back to 600 or just stops.

Have you ever changed pcv?
Vacuum gauge would help troubleshooting.
What's the mileage on Ram.....any fuel system/injector cleaner ever used....bad gas???

I have not changed the PCV. theres about 90K on the truck right now. no fuel system or injector cleaner ever used. As for bad gas.. i was thinking that too or maybe a little water because it started as we got cold weather here . But i will look into PCV and also Vacum leak. Thanks for the suggestions.
