It is the 2001, 6 cyl. WS and the problem is it will not start without a jump. The battery is fully charged and extremely good as verified by autozone, all connections are clean and tight, have tested starter relay fuse and it is good. Now when I turn the key on, it has power try to start and nothing: nada, zero, zilch.....no sounds or anything, will not even hear the starter click. Put jumper on it, it'll start right up, it will, while idling/driving, light up on the dash "Check Gauges" and after a few will go away then return again a few later. Turn power off, gotta jump it again to start. Any ideas?

I'm guessing battery.
How old is the battery ?
Or too much resistance somewhere.
If you jump the starter relay
it may give you a clue ?

Not even when I jumped he relay fuse. Just an idea that came to me is #1 the battery is about 5 years old (cheapo-walmart battery) and #2 is could it be just not enough cranking amps even if battery is fully charged? And would that possible cause the dash warning light to say check gauges while driving at times?

Dual batteries? Depending on how they're wired together in the vehicle, all it takes is one of the batteries to be bad and you'll have voltage issues with the vehicle like failure to start.
You probably need to replace both batteries

Autozone and most parts stores use a digital-type battery load tester which are prone to false positives.

Splurge and spend $18.

Then you will own the ideal battery load tester which is far more definitive and rarely fails to identify a deficient or defective battery.
