Can i replace all the chrome bumpers and grill accent with matte black? Going to be purchasing a 2500 Tradesman 6.7 Cummins soon. Anyone know if most Ram Dealerships have these itsms in stock and available to switch out on purchase day? Or am i going to have to purchase online and take to a dealer or bodyshop?

I’m sure they keep most things in stock or one day away (especially if they have a body shop on site). I am in the same boat, check out rockauto.com they have if I’m not mistaken all parts your looking for....I’m keeping an eye on Craig’s list for someone who pulled their bumpers for a full replacement...and gonna offer pennies on the dollar and go from there.

That’s my 2 cents at least. Good luck

I'm thinking about Plasti-dipping my chrome bumpers, grill, body below the crease and stock wheels. Well, more than thinking...I bought the 12 cans I estimated I needed. Soon as I get back to TN. Had to pick up my scooter in PA. dedfb097694150053746c2d00e748946.jpg

I did that on an older truck, few key points to make it look good.

1) make sure it’s absolutely clean and dry!
2) start with a light coat for the first 2 or 3
3) do at least 7 rounds...it will stick better, look cleaner, last longer....and if you ever want to pull it off it will actually come off in large pieces instead of small chunks.
4) use painters tape to get your lines straight.
