I drive a lot as a salesman and really enjoy the adaptive cruise feature. My Subaru has it but not of the stop and go variety. One of the things I really liked on the Ram is the fact that it has stop and go which means in bumper to bumper traffic the truck will come all the way to a stop and then start back up without me doing anything. At least it did in the test drive.

Now that I have gone through the setup and adjusted several safety and other aspects of the drive I can't get stop and go to work. I am sure its just something I have setup improperly. It comes to a stop fine but then when the car in front of me moves my truck starts to move but then the brakes lock down as if its locked down. I can touch the throttle and it moves again and resumes the adaptive cruise.

Any ideas on what setting I need to check to restore this to normal stop and go?

I found a mopar video on the 1500 on YouTube and it is working properly. If it stops for over 2 seconds the electric brake gets applied and you have to push the gas pedal to resume adaptive cruise
