Welcome aboard. Sunday's are hit or miss on the active members around here.

The Bullydog tuners will serve you well as long as your not planning on adding headers later on. I wish I had followed a few guys advice on here. And went with the Diablo/Hemifever tune from the beginning since I ended up with headers. Now I'm going to have to swap tuners to get rid of my bullydog over the summer.

Welcome & good looking truck. I'll raise a glass with you.

I got a Bullydog second hand for my 09. Talked the guy into letting me try it out for the weekend, & I'd either give him money on Monday or give the whole thing back. Put the 89 tune in (pretty hard finding 91 up here, no 93 available). On my initial test drive, I floored it & had my head thrown back---I'm sold. Raised throttle response to max, truck didn't wait to think for a second anymore & moved right now. It got even better with my k&n kit. I was pretty happy with it. Only negative that I found was it would borderline misfire, shake, & slow to accelerate on WOT at 45-55. I never did look into it or try updating the Bullydog. It might have been a fuel issue too as it's pretty hard finding 89 around here, I always ran 88.5. I pulled the tune out before getting rid of the truck & that issue went away.

Seems to be the consensus around here that you'll be better off with a Diablo. If yours is a 13 or 14, then it's only about $100 more than a Bullydog. Plus being able to get a hemifever tune to customize it for your needs/build. I would already have one if they weren't $1000 for the 15 & 16.

Thanks guys for the Welcome. I do forget that I am on the other side of the world ( Kuwait). From what I have been reading in the forums Diablo is the way to go since it will grow with the truck as you add more mods, but for $1000 it might have to wait since my wife has a Jeep, I think the mod bug has bitten her! Thought I killed that sucker when I sprayed brake cleaner on it as it was crawling across the garage floor Damn my luck.

You stationed there or living in the city there? If stationed, which camp? Just curious, it has been years but it's a trip down memory lane.
