Having a strange issue with the heated seats in in my 2015 3500 Laramie. Issue is inconsistent and am kinda stumped on what to look for.

Just bought the truck so no previous history, worked during test drive, d/s seat worked fine while driving around the next day doing errands and worked all day.

Now it seems to be having issue. If i command start the truck the heated seat comes on (selected to come on in comfort settings). Get in truck and drive and the seat will automatically switch off after 15 minutes of driving. At the same time the passenger seat may or may not switch off at the same time. Now after they shut off if you switch it back on the light comes on for a second before it shuts off.

If starting the truck with the key the d/s will still turn off after 15 minutes most times. Passenger side seems to work correctly with a key start most times.

Heat output seems to vary, any where from next to no heat or needing to switch to low or off all together. Seems like when there is good heat out put the cushion and back feel equally as warm and when heat is poor they are comparable as well. It doesn’t seem like the cushion or back is hotter than the other.

Wondering if anyone has experienced this issue before and has some inside for what I might be looking for. Thanks

It's the module under the seat I think. Mine did that in -50 where I want the damn thing the most! Swapped out the module never had an issue again.

It’s about -20 right now and when it worked correctly it was more so around -10 if that helps

Steering wheel heat works phenomenal.

If a module is easy enough to find or cheap enough I could certainly test that out

5026629AL I think this is the part number you'll need but I'd double check under the seat and see what the part number is. In most cases it's the same minus the last two letters. The last step letters just foreward as a supercede number AA is usually the first revision AB would be next and so on.
Hope this helps.

68217268AD this is the number on my module. Before I change it does anyone know which connectors go to which seats? I’d be interested in checking resistance of the elements and make sure I done have one on the fritz causing issues. So a connector Pinout or wiring diagram would be great if someone has one. Thanks

Take a PIX of any connections, if there is a possibility that you could reconnect them wrongly
