Stuck tailgate

Does anyone know how to remove a stick tailgate from a 2011 Ram 1500? I have an aluminum sled deck on top so I CANT access the tailgate handle panel on the inside of the tailgate.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Would drilling out the two tailgate bolts from the outside work? I know there are two nuts on the inside so would they just start spinning?

Not afraid of wrecking anything as I have a new tailgate to replace it.

Any help would be appreciated!

If you do not mind wrecking the gate , then just take a cutoff wheel and cut around the handle . Then you'll have access to both lock rods to open the gate .
