I just replaced my waterpump but I had already deleted my fan clutch and I run a V6 E-fan. In order to get that fan clutch off, it actually extracts clockwise, not counterclockwise. Lots of youtubers show the use of hitting a big crescrent wrench with a hammer while using a flat bar with 2 bolts drilled and inserted in the waterpump pulley. I went a different route and it was SUPER easy. I climbed under the truck, using the tool from Autozone, and a big crescent, was able to muscle it off. I got rid of the fan shroud, etc and have a TON of space now on the engine to work on things (like replacing the waterpump I did a couple weeks ago).

Good luck!

also i notice there are 2 options? Reverse) Rotation; and standard excuse the stupid questions :D lol but does it mean the way it spins or the way it threads on? like you said above mine turns clockwise to get it off IF it where to break loose.

It is reverse thread you go clockwise to take it off. I used the large crescent and a large hammer method and gave it a tap and it easily broke loose.

Nossir just the one way. It's reverse threaded so it doesn't spin off in operation :)

Never knew that they ever spun 2 different ways. Make sure you have the correct one. The fan spins clockwise if you are standing in the front of the truck looking at it.

Just a heads up that I have not had a lot of luck with aftermarket fan clutches. I tried several and they didn't offer the cooling the OEM one did. My truck at the time ran hot. This was a while ago so maybe they have improved since then, I don't know, but I have found you get what you pay for.
