I have a feeling those two eight speed transmissions, the one in the hemi trucks and the one in the Hellcats will offer some interchangeability. If not the entire transmission, then at least some components.

Lol, that's because that's the first thing that will break once a supercharger is installed. We can talk about the wildest supercharger install on a truck engine all you want but it's useless unless you only plan to run the engine on an engine dyno. Most other vehicles you can easily run a supercharger and not think twice about it; and on ours you can run the base supercharger offering from most companies without issue. But we always want more and in our case, we are left wanting.

Procharger says their kit is out for the 2014s but they haven't made any comments about restrictions on the transmission.

My friend at a Dodge Dealership said theyve had 3 Supercharged 13+ Rams come in with broken tailshafts.

My guess is the dealer buddy stretched the truth a little bit. There are only a handfull out there...seems odd that one dealer in Canada got 3 of them. It could happen...just doesn't seem very probable.

This. Since I've started getting out more in the provincial Ram crowd I've found a guy that has done twin turbos on a 4th gen and is running a locally built and tuned 545 that's easily holding 580rwhp. There is stupid amounts of money out here and the most common thing you see guys from the patch spending it on is their vehicle, though the most common is big lifts, huge tires, chipped diesels, and flipped up tow mirrors.

Sorry, no pics since he lives 5 hours away from me and I only got to see him for 3 min as I was pulling into the meet late and he was leaving early. Did get a quick look under the hood but it's definitely got a set of twins under there I'd love to take a deeper look at the next time we're in the vicinity of each other since he wants to scope mine out more too.

There's a 12 Ram local getting a 3 liter Whipple and a Level 10 built transmission. They are cutting the firewall just to fit the blower.
