I'm looking to add a superchips tuner to my 2011 Ram 2500 5.7. I don't want to spend a ton, and I'm mainly looking to increase MPG and performance while towing. From what I understand it will be my best bet. I have a CAI, flowmaster exhaust and throttle body spacer. I'm running 35" tires and my speedo is off which doesn't bother me much. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what model I need?? Thanks...I'm a newbie to tuners fd21ee951223eab8131fafafae142ac1.jpg

I know the trinity is the one to get, but I'm not doing any more mods. And I don't want to spend $800

Is there a cheaper option? It's my daily driver. Mpg is crap with the lift and tires and worse when I tow

The Diablo i2 is only $469 which includes custom tuning and the Trinity is only $599.

Do you think it makes enough difference to justify the cost? Like I said I want better towing. I get 7mpg towing the sleds. Added perf is a bonus

There are two different serial numbers for your application with one being a California model (not sure of the difference) but the numbers are flashpaq 3841 and 3842 for the older unit that is applicable. I know superchips also recently came out with a new model called the flashpaq F5 serial number 3845 that is listed on their site for $369.xx.

It shows it as fitting a 2011 ram 1500 hemi, but the comments section people say it won't fit a 2500...doesn't make sense to me

That's interesting, might be a situation where you contact their customer service department to verify that but I don't see why it would not work considering it's the same engine.

You have 3.73s? I bet that truck is a bit of a dog with the 5.7, lift and tires. Good luck. Am on a trip with a guy with a 2013 2500 5.7 and he's selling it because it's a bit of a dog towing. As has been stated before, the 6 speed in these trucks is designed for the torque curve of the diesels so the gas trucks just aren't a great fit for them.
