I installed the 87 octane performance but was wondering one thing. When reading about the 87 tune people were saying they then started running 89 octane for the tune. I've been running the regular 87 octane, should I switch to the 89? Would I see a difference then?

Do you mean using 89 octane on the 87 tune?
No need.
But going up in tunes will be more power, the 91 octane tune is just nasty on my truck, lots of tire spin.
But for the long run I have mine on economy tune & is still better than stock.

No need to do it just for the tune. As you use different tunes, the fuel requirement changes. Stick to the parameters of the tune for best results.

As stated, stick to the recommended fuel octane for the tune you're running. You won't see any benefit running a higher octane fuel than the engine needs.
