Are there any advantages/disadvantages to one vs the other? I would like to order one today. Wondering what the differences are.

No difference in tuning. Cortex has a power train warranty and looks different. Cortex is more expensive.

Spend the extra money on others mods and get the Flashpaq.

I was just reading Overstock Auto's feedback. Looks real good. Get the Cortex. I personally like the the look of the device a little better than the Flashpaq.
