I am looking to maybe buy a suspension lift for my 05 Ram 1500. It has ready lift torsion keys in it and an add a leaf in the rear. I was looking into a 4" suspension lift by rancho, and buying the 9000xl adjstable shocks with it. Any opinions on this set up!

As far as I know adjustable shocks don't work with torsion bars even with a lift
In most cases people kick themselves for not getting the 6" kit

What size of tires do you plan to run? If 35's are it, I would stick with the 4". If you go up to a 6" you are going to want to run 37's. With your gearing 37's would be no problem.
I have a 4" w/35's and I am more than happy with it, it suits me well and is still very functionable (for towing, hualing, fair fuel economy, etc). I am not saying that a 6'' lift wouldn't be funtionable, but compared to my previous vehicles with higher lifts the 4" suits me well.
6" w/37's looks sweet though.

The rancho adjustable shocks aren't adjustable for height. But for ride smoothness. Pretty nifty shocks. Even has a remote control.

As far as the lift quality, I have heard MANY people praise their lofts by them.

Rough county lifts are another good option MPC a vendor to our website has great deals on ther lifts. Check out their section at the bottom of the forum page.

Check out Zone Offroad. I have their 6" on my 06. The cost difference from the 4-6 is minimal. You can get the Zone through 3rd Strike, also a vendor.

There isnt any simple way. With some fabrication people do run solid axles in 02-05 1500

Not in a cost effective way.
Hop on down under your truck and take a look to get an idea of whats required.

Too bad that you're one year away from the coil spring suspension, 05 was the last year they had torsion bars.
