SVC 4WD message

Lately, when I switch into 4 wheel drive, the light flashes for longer than usual and eventually the "SVC 4WD" message comes up for a few seconds until the truck goes successfully into 4WD and then the message goes away and the 4WD indicator light stays on steady. I occasionally get the message also when I switch back to 2WD.

Have a look at the plug that goes into the actuator on the front axle. Took my truck in and they told me the plug end needed to be replaced. A little dielectric and some in out action on the plug and it was good to go. My assumption is that they didn't put any in there after replacing my actuator.
