Came in today, and swapped it out. Was the "premium" model recommended by several in another thread. Did a quick check on reception, and local channels seem fine in the garage. Will test it out later. Don't listen to the radio a lot, so it should be fine. Definitely like the looks better!

That little guy would make windexing the windshield easier, with the big ol whip out of the way. And it looks stealthy. RJ gives it 2 thumbs up!

Put mine on about 2 months ago. It works perfect in the city and surrounding areas. About 30 miles away from city I start to lose reception. No biggie, I just stream off phone

Yup, I probably stream from my phone about 90% of the time... Glad to have the big whip out of the way.

I'm a radio junkie. Worked in radio many years ago. I like finding stations with brave talent that will play off the wall stuff (like I did back in the day...)

We have a little Classic Country station here that will play Hank Sr., then Charlie Daniels, then Earl Scruggs, then John Melloncamp, then John Hartford.

Agreed, had not thought about making it easier to clean the windshield!

That's the antenna I have. Works well in my area. Also like the fact that it's out of the way and car wash friendly.

I’ve had a short black wire one... not this rubber stubby. I get good enough reception & haven’t noticed an issue. It’s been 2yrs. I’m glad I ditched the whip.
