I'm experiencing random vibration through gas peddle after acceleration. The vibration is not violent but noticeable. Does that seem similar to U joint or warped drive shaft. Bought my 2010 1500 4x4 2 weeks ago and still on the noob side of the learning curve.

Are you saying you can feel the vibration in the accelerator pedal or that the vibration is related to when you press the pedal and achieve a certain engine RPM?

There are plenty of things that can cause a vibration. Normally one of the first things I check during a visual inspection is the U-Joints. Take a look at the rear driveshaft U-Joints and see if the grease is starting to come out of them. Do you see any cracks in the body of the joint or in the end caps?
Take the bolts out of the driveshaft at the rear diff and attempt to move the U-Joint by hand. It should move freely without any binding. If it is hard to move and you feel it binding while moving it in a certain direction then the needle bearings are done for and its time for a replacement. You make also find the U-Joint(s) are seized and that means its time for replacements too.

Now, to isolate the vibration, can you feel the vibration only at a certain speed? What RPM does the vibration occur at?

Shift the transmission manually. Can you feel the vibration in every gear?

Does the vibration go away in a certain gear?

Does the vibration become amplified while in a certain gear?

First off thanks Fast for your time. Yes I feel it in the accelerator peddle at different speed and rpm. More noticeable after a decent pull ( acceleration). I noticed a small fluid leak on the front universal and will try your recommended inspection of rear universal tomorrow. I'm assuming I should avoid highway speeds until this is resolved. Thanks again Fast for quick response. Guess it's all in the name. Lol

I would avoid heavy acceleration until this issue can be resolved. We dont want to break a U-joint and damage the drieshaft or the transmission.

Just so I understand you correctly, while you are cruising and holding the pedal steady, you can feel the vibration in the skinny pedal?

Do you feel the vibration in the floor under your feet?

Is the vibration strong enough to make your cupholder shake with a drink in it?

Do you hear rattles in the interior that you didnt notice before?

First question. No. At maintained speed or cruise it goes away.
Second. No vibration in floor or of so very little.
Third. No. Not that violent.
Forth. No.
