have a 4 in lift on a 14 mega cab with a synergy drag link and drop pitman arm; problem is that when the steering wheel is turned right the drag link knocks pretty hard. The joint to the pitman arm is mounted through the bottom up as instructed. Wondering if anyone else has had any such issues/fixes.

From your pic the link looks like it has too much length.

I circled it for you

we considered that too but the pitman arm is not flush parallel to the ground, if you look close you can see that it has an angle to it

It's mounted wrong on the pitman arm side, should be on top.

Edit: I see you have a aftermarket drop pitman. Factory is mounted from the top so maybe the pitman is the issue. How much lift was it designed for? Looks like more then 4"?

I thought that may be the case but I can't get ahold of synergy mfg to verify. Since it came with the truck I wasn't too sure.

The instructions on the 4" BDS kit shows the stock link needing modification. I would think your new drag link would need the same modification

No aftermarket drag link comes with the tab needed for removal that I know of and they are all for lifted trucks. I agree that it’s installed upside down and needs to go top in first.
