Lucky I won’t be able to mow for another month the grass is still brown and won’t perk up until late April early May. Should be lush and nice by about Memorial Day. The joy and pain of having seasons!

I as well used Amsoil in a point in my life - Dad sold it out of our garage when I was a young little ****.

I still have my PC status! But I never order anymore due to the prices and crazy shipping prices as well as they tax - Which I have no clue where that $$ is actually spent = Just Not a Fan anymore.

Having to spend over $100 to get free shipping for some reason just raises by blood pressure like no other.

I just am more $$$ conscious in my old age!

Yes! I agree why spend that extra $$$ - When you can achieve (Very similar)results with todays shelf bought oils for much less $$$. (With a normal OCI) Not extended drain!

Amsoil has always had very high quality oils - but the brand is possibly not the best suited with the budget customer in mind! I Honestly feel (Like Stated above) Amsoil was created for extended oil drains - Which I totally understand. These type of oils have to be extremely Robust from the beginning.
Again I feel the other brands have caught up in quality @ a much lower price point!

I have NEVER bashed/bad mouthed Amsoil Products - Only the way the company chooses to make its profits.

This is only my Opinion.

I hate to repeat myself, but my 6.4 sounded like a thrashing machine on Amsoil AZF 0W40. By far, the noisiest it has ever been. And I am not an Amsoil hater, I was a retailer for them, and it is still in my wife's car.

What is Amsoil AZF? I didn’t see that in any of the selections, just OE, XL and SS.

What are other oils that are made from natural gas? That a good thing, or a bad thing? Pennzoil’s commercial I saw last night sure made it sound like crude oil was in fact, “crude”.....lol.

I get mine right from the dealership; I pay between 8-10$ per quart depending on who’s working. And it’s always in stock; last time they had 148 quarts in stock.

Amazon will usually end up with the 6 pack of 1 qt bottles of SRT oil down to 45 or 50. Currently at a high price but that usually happens around the beginning or end of the latest rebate/promotion.

The 5W-30 5 qt jug has been at 25 for a while now.

A lot of manufacturers wont tell you. Pennzoil just just try’s using it as a selling point. If pennzoil uses it ( Shell) than id consider ANY synthetic made by shell or under shells “umbrella” to at least be blended with it. Just to be safe.

I think mobil 1 has also been using GTL for a while as well. Though i dont thing they use it exclusively like PP and PUP.

See that’s the 5W-30, the 0W-40 PUP is no cheaper than the Amsoil, and I don’t have to hunt for the Amsoil. So far the UOA’s and VOA’s I’ve seen for PUP 0W-40 are very comparable to my UOAs. Still not done doing my research but doesn’t look like a benefit for me to switch.

This is for 5w20. But I see what you mean, Walmart.com only has that 0w40 PUP in the quart at its $17.47 each.
