Texass is having problems because they didn’t want to be on a national power grid. They thought they could do it better. Well not everything is better in Texass.

They build their own wind turbines in TX and kept saying, it’ll never freeze down here, even after many real experts, who build wind farms in Canada gave them a way to prevent exactly what is happening.

Texass still believes it’s a sovereign state, and doesn’t need the help of the Fed. And their people are suffering now because of it.

5w30 takes the cake for my 6.4 in the winter. Cant plug my block heater in right now or my battery blanket and it started right up at -15

After having spent a decade or so in TX, that attitude is typical. “We don’t need anyone coming here telling us how to do things”

It’s more than their power grid that’s built that way too. Traffic systems, water, gas, and other utilities.

Look up ERCOT, and you will see the part of Texass that it covers is the same area that’s without power.

The eastern power grid offered to build a superstation to tie into ERCOT but the last I heard they were turned down.

One of the best tools Ive ever bought. My old Frontier was basically impossible to get air free because of the cooling system design.....bought that funnel, filled it with coolant and let the engine run until no more air was coming back into the funnel. Done and dusted in half an hour, after 10 times of trying to factory procedure.

Jeff gave me some advice. If i have time on lunch break i will take the cap off and go park on a hill (passenger side up) and let the truck run for a bit. See if she burps.

You should have seen how many times I tried that with my Frontier. Parked at end of driveway with wheels on street and engine aimed up the driveway, and vice versa. Still didnt really help (the Frontier cooling system design was horrendous....like 8 hoses mounted to the underside of the intake manifold....how the hell do they expect to get coolant all the way up there lol)

damn this was my first hearing that French took over FCA. Of course the people who "gave us the statue of liberty" would want to tear down everything Mopar is, and replace it with sub par junk.
