I use much si-1 with my 5w30 redline and my tbn retention is what I call exceptional. Something else is at play.

I used 1 oz per 10 gallon every single tank and did a full bottle every 3,000 miles ...ish.

Dis you use that much?

In the end the report came back good so I’m not worried at all

Saw this at Costco. I know nothing about it other than it’s a heck of a price. $2.50/qt for synthetic 5W-30.

Anyone know if it is any good? I could do 4 oil changes with it for what I pay for Redline...

kirkland 5w30

If you just looked at stats and not brand name, it looks like a top oil, viscosity index is great and boron plus moly all is good.

I just changed the oil and filter today with RedLine 5W-30 and RP filter. I already had them before I saw the Kirkland oil. Going to have a UOA run on the oil. It will be the second one. 8900 miles on the oil, 70K miles on the truck.

If the UOA comes back with good numbers, I may try the Kirkland oil at next oil change. Change the oil at 5K or 6 months. I’d love to keep fresher oil in the truck with the miles rolling up.

"The electricity used in the electrolysis reactions will begin as strong breezes whipping over the North Sea, the site of three large-scale offshore wind farms. There, Audi has built four turbines, each with a capacity of 3.6 megawatts. Together, the turbines should generate 53 gigawatt-hours of electricity each year."

Cool. That takes care of some of northern Europe. I guess the rest of the world gets it wherever it's windy only. The rest of us, not so much. We can walk.

We have tornadoes, TX has hurricanes AND tornadoes. Maybe we can just conjure them up when we need a lot of wind? Or congress.

I was being sarcastic because of that :)

A lot of the wind turbines froze up because they didnt have deicing/defrosting systems, because TX will never get below freezing.

My bad. you would think being british i would pick up on sarcasm....... lol!
