I have something that is both a curse and a blessing when I read or study. Serious tunnel vision.

90 degrees [emoji15][emoji15][emoji15] how do you handle that.

Good lord!

It was almost half that here today and we have no need getting any hotter IMO.

Looks like Redline is expanding their API licensed oils. The 0w20, 5w20, and 5w30 are all SN+ and the 0w20 and 5w30 are Dexos 1 Gen 2 approved. Good marketing strategy IMO, have an API licensed oil and leave the blue label as is.

Cool find Cory, thanks for sharing!

Good for redline. Banking on the API donut. Group 3/4 is still a great baes oil too.

Good find C money, and sn+ wow on that ****. I really wish they would do that with blue label, but this second best. I want to know moly levels! Great choice with clean basestocks for lspi di engines.

better then just group 3 for sure and there is no pao not mixed with group 3 or 5 anyway, and this is the cheaper line of redline. If you go to a NAPA, this would cost the same as m1 or maybe even cheaper then RP if you can believe that.

The blue label WHITE bottle is still hemi honey with that very special hths 3.7, I guess we will have to start saying black bottle redline. Pour Points suggest much less pao then our hemi honey. Looks good, but not as good as what we have been using. Not showing noack, I don't like that, hopefully that gets posted.

Our high for today (Wednesday) is showing to be 100 and we haven't even gotten to the hot months. Good thing I'll be sleeping (My work schedule blows) so at-least I won't have endure that consciously.

NAPA has their Platinum oil filters on sale for $4.99 through sometime this month if anybody is interested. As far as I know that price covers all automotive oil filters so one hell of a deal. Yeah I know probably blasphemy and all to bring it up but what the **** right? Thanks to kkreit01 for bringing it to our attention in another thread.

NOACK is posted for a few of the viscosities so im sure it will get posted soon. The NOACK is definitely better than a lot if off The shelf group 3 and GTL oils. Obviously not as good as the blue label but definitely respectable numbers indeed!

In stop and go yes sometimes. When it is hot out. But I have 4:10 gears and my truck weighs 9140 lbs. Not always but when sitting in traffic and light to light it would climb up there. According to my transmission guy that valve does not open until 180 or 185 fully.

Thanks for clarifying. And 4:10’s will make your transmission have LESS load on it.

So are you saying that the 4:10's actually reduce the load? I thought that it worked a bit harder with low gears at low speed but at speed when pulling it was easier on the transmission? Do I have that backwards?
