Ditto I have been to so many of their shows over the years. I did feel like this last show I didn’t like it because the kids showing up only knew the latest album and I was like bro do you even Dude Ranch?
I went last year and this year for a show. This year definately seemed like a younger crowd who only knew the latest album

The tazman's pay load is better then a full sized ram, probably gets double the mpg's for 1/2 the price on MSRP and can tow 8k pounds. The main issue with this vehicle is the badge, nobody is going to take a Kia seriously as a truck, but just like in oil badge or brand means nothing to me what is this thing made of. Considering the direction of the American market I think this would work, if nothing else keep the competition honest.

The problem I have is the bed hanging over the rear. The wheelbase is way too short to do any type of hauling. Looks dumb also.

I have no trouble with Kia or Hyundai. We bought a new SantaFe in 2002 that was a very good vehicle that we had for almost 15 years.

I also bought a front end totaled 2004 Sonata that had 4k miles on it, and rebuilt it for myself. That turned out to be a great car I had for years. The person I sold it too kept if for years also, and said it was the best car they ever owned.

I just don't like more bed hanging off the back than in front of the rear wheels.

I hear ya, but coming from bronco's I personally love the short wheel base. I miss that every day, lol. You can make a one point u turn on a single lane road with a bronco.

I would not trade the ram for anything new, certainly not any stellantis product now that they got rid of the only truck I would have bought the classic and the hemi despite it's flaws. But if that Kia with chassis cab was here at under 30k I would have to really consider it for my daily. I would laugh at guys in the rav 4 our other vehicle as I would get all of that plus 5 more mpg's? lol common man I am not that hard to please. I would debage it, keep'm wondering

Ditto

As long as I can get parts I'm milking the Ram to the bitter end.
New vehicles are so screwed up for so many reasons they aren't any fun to look at anymore.

I suppose I sound like my old man griping about seat belts when they came out.

Same here. And when it finally starts to get to the point where I cant find parts or it's getting prohibitively expensive to repair, I'm going older.

HO baby, for you 2001-2007 Cummins? Great freaking trucks, I had one brother had two, brother went to manual for his second as he towed heavy but I bet auto would be fine for your lil toy. I swear something about those trucks so smooth, turbos so clean sounding. I didn't even tow or haul back then, I just wanted one, lol?

I was thinking older than that, like a 12V.

must watch - build a truck just give the people what they want a 25k truck

Not opposed to this at all!
Pretty slick IMPO.

Could get one for a daily, and keep my Warlock with no dang e-torque for weekend drives with my family.

Just need to pay off the Warlock first....lol

Yep. I was a 12V Cummins owner from 1991 to 1999.
I came within a whisker of being a First Gen owner. We had two junk Fords with 6.9 Navijunk IDI engines. Garbage engines and garbage trucks. I test drove a '91 RCLB 5 speed and loved it. In the end, we decided to just keep fixing the junk Fords a while longer.

Interesting.
Maybe Phillips-Conoco, or whatever conglomerate behemoth owner has them realized the errors of their ways?
ala the Stellatis Euro Mafia.

Did an oil change on my 2019 Classic today. 7 qts of PUP 5/30 and 16oz. of Lubegard. I decided to take Burla’s advice and use a Fram FE2 filter. That is tricky trying to snake that big filter into position. I am thinking I will have to punch a hole in it drain before I try to remove it at the next oil change.

Use FE10575 next time.
Same diameter as OEM but longer. I use it.
