Because I'm lazy and don't want to research for it, what bulb is needed for the LED tail light on my 2014 RAM? Driving home from work today when I turned on my left blinker I got the ding and message indicator letting me know I had a bulb out.

Today while driving the message of left turn signal out was still showing, but at one point the message cleared and left worked normally. A few minutes later it popped back on. When I got home pulled the left rear housing out, disconnected the power connector checking the pins for damage. Pins looked good so I reconnected power and tested and blinker work without error. Guess maybe there was something loose or misaligned.

Time will tell.

I know this is an older thread and sorry to revive it, but i'm having the same issue every time I take my truck out of park. I get the passenger rear brake light is out. I have the LED tail lights from the factory, as that's what came with my 2013 1500 Sport. I've checked it and the bulb clearly works fine and the turn signal never flashes fast. I've inspected it and everything seems tight. I took it apart and the connectors all look good. I even blew it out to make sure there was no dirt in there, and then when I was sure there wasn't, I added a little dielectric grease just to make sure no moisture was getting in there. I put everything back together tightly. I'm still getting that damn ding every time. Is there a place where the wiring harness likes to short out or something common that I can look at and maybe tape up or fix so that this stupid message goes away?? I'm tempted to get an AlphaOBD but I don't want the light going out and then not know about it until I get a ticket. Any help is appreciated!

LMAO, do you realize I made that original post in August of 2018? If that is the best that you can do to help a fellow owner it may be best for you to not post at all. Btw, I resolved the issue.

Yes I know the date you posted it. It’s the first sentence that irritates the forum members.
“I’m to lazy to do the research”
Look at my profile I have a high post volume and a blue diamond by my name. I also do a lot of research for members when they’re not to LAZY to try n find the answer on their own first. I’ll help anybody anytime anywhere who are willing to help themselves
