Anyone try to use AlfaOBD to set tail lights to ON when DRL's are enabled ?? OR Can AlfaOBD be used to configure what lights are lit in "Auto" position of headlight switch ?
This might seem OCD to some, but if I loan the truck to my kids or a friend, I want the tail lights on with the DRL's so they don't forget and drive around with no rear lights. The issue is that in rain / fog / snow DRL's make the truck more visible from the front, BUT the rear is still dark.
An equally agreeable thing would be not to worry about DRL's at all, BUT configure the "Auto" setting on my headlight switch to illuminate all running lights (front and rear) any time the "Auto" setting is engaged - then the sensor could turn on the truck's headlights automatically when the light gets really low.
Right now my solution is to put a plastic table leg cap over the light sensor and turn the switch to "Auto" so no one can forget to use the lights.
