tailgate auto locks?

hello everyone,
new to the forum with a 2020 Laramie, granite, blacked out and a hemi. also 1st ram and I have to say is sweet. curious i checked a few rams and the tailgate locked when you locked the truck, mine does not? I also have the 12 inch screen, found the door locks yet nothing for the tailgate to lock? The ram boxes lock as well with the doors can't believe the tailgate would not?

You are likely walking up to it with your fob in your pocket. It automatically unlocks with the fob present. Lock the truck leave the fob in the house and go out and try to open the tailgate. It'll be locked.

right on jus cruisin works as explained thank you, spent a little tim ein sunny F L A myself, clearwater area now a mountain man haha
