Tailgate led strip

Hey everyone im kinda a noob. I bout a led tailgate lught strip and when i hit the break the turn signals turn on. Do i have to hard wire it to the headlight blinkers

Do the tail lights have two bulbs, one reverse and the other for everything else?

It must have one break light an a reverse. Thats the only thing i can think of

Yep. If it only has two harnesses for both you're going to have to wire it to the headlights. Mine was the same way, but if I had a blinker on it worked. Until I hit the brakes. Then the tail lights flip.

By flip I mean the left blinker was on the tailgate bar scrolled right.

Thanks this forum rules! And its a euro effects the website is the glow guru.com. Its a scanning one that has amber red and white leds. The guy at my local truck place is telling me since i have the amber lights i need a special adapter or fix something with the trucks computer? Idk what to do.

Awesome. Glad you like it here. Wish I could help but I don't have a light bar with the amber color, so I'm not sure how it works, I just have one with the red and white lights.

My bar is the same one as yours. Wire the brake wire to the 3rd brake light. And the turn signals to the head light turn signals. And then everything else to its normal position. Nothin else is needed.

Very much so, when I first placed it it was too close to my tailgate, and when I opened it it smashed right on top of it. No damage to it at all.

i was up at 2 am doing the light strip with my friend we have the same truck. he has the firestorm one which comes withh all the wires and no adapter. mine had the 4 pin connecter and this reciever thing that controlled everything. i was afraid if i started to slice wires and take off the four pin connecter it wouldnt work. so im gunna buy a plasma glow
