You are missing the part that these discounts are only on ordered trucks. They do not apply to in stock inventory.

Because you have to *order* your truck through them, not buy one off the lot. Koons even had threads on this forum detailing the deal.

I had a quote from Granger but couldn't order due to Power Wagon order banks being closed. Multiple people here and elsewhere have purchased under invoice from them.

If you are in a hurry and can't wait for an order to come in, Mark Dodge in LA , Laura CJDR in MO, or Gupton in TN are your best bets.

Everything is negotiable. Talk to a manager, find out what the rebates are, they won't let you walk too much money on the line. Pay what you are willing to pay if not walk. Like you said 1,000 is really not that much considering the cost of a truck. The dealership would not let me walk. They did everything they could to get me rebates even if I didn't qualify.

Yes, I made sure the 1000 deduction was on the worksheet and of course the price stays the same. It’s also not totally non refundable. If one little thing is wrong or it takes longer than they said, it’s all null and void.

These new rams are funny, noticed a little play in driver side window switch already, a stitch on rear seat coming out and nobody even sat in there, and why on earth would they have a black coolant reservoir where you can not see a level lol, I pray if my truck is ever in for service nobody mistakes that yellow cap for windshield washer fluid! Other than that seems good so far. Can’t tell if a little vibration around 50 is MDS or not, or just how the vehicle is. Already in the habit of locking out MDS via gear selector, figured it’s better if all 8 cylinders break in evenly. In the owner manual says to get on the throttle hard when able to when cruising on highway within the legal limits wonder if that’s there way of breaking in the other cylinders if deactivated.

So I am taking delivery of my new ram classic today which was a special order build, I know times have changed in the past few years but for special orders should I be expecting to pay msrp or is this price something that should still be negotiable. I have a $1000 non refundable deposit down. Wondering the mindset I should be walking in with here. Only other offers I see are $825 or whatever off my classic truck on ram site. Thanks!

I've never ordered a vehicle without having the deal made before I said order it and give them the money down. That way I know exactly what I'm getting and price. Sounds to me like you just learned a costly life lesson because they have got you now no matter what you do. If you walk away they have 1-k in their pocket and thenwill sell the truck and make another big profit

What I ordered won’t sell on there lot, that’s why it is not refundable. I also do not have to pay what they will ‘tell me’ I have to pay, if it is unreasonable sure I loose $1000…but loosing $1000 is better than excepting something that is $50,000+ that I don’t agree with.

Just because I am fortunate to be able to **** away $1000 if need be just shows that I make good money and I am good at saving, if they turned around and wanted $5,000 over MSRP I would have been walking elsewhere. No Chrysler product is worth more than msrp.
