The truck really does look sharp in white.

Curious, does the gas 25/3500 truck have a gas cap? Or is it capless like the diesels?

Cool. That will make some of the diesel boys jealous.....a lot of them put a rubber cap over the filler neck to avoid dirt and moisture from entering.

Can 1 of you 6.4 guys take a pic of your engine bay to post here? Maybe 1 from each side and 1 from directly in front? I am waiting to get my hands on a local 6.4 so that we can start test fitting aftermarket parts to find out what fits and what doesn't. Some pics might make it easier to rule out anything that would be obvious.

BTW, I see myself dropping a 6.4 crate motor into my 1500 within the year ;)

Hell, if anything, I am the biggest pic posting ***** around here, and they haven't kicked me out (yet)! :D

The only thing that looks a little odd in those engine bay shots, is the IAT#1 sensor wire, the way it is plugged in the top of the airbox with the big shrink wrapped wire hanging off it.

a couple of questions......

1) is parking assist the annoying beeping backup sensors or the rear camera?

2) is there a quick easy way to disable the rear camera and or parking assist? I do a lot of backing up plowing snow and don't want the damn thing driving me nuts when I don't need it

3) is the cargo area camera (not backup camera) able to be viewed WHILE the vehicle is in motion? Or did the lawyers of the world save us from ourselves again?

4) does Anyone have a Prairie Pearl 2500/3500 they can post pics of?

5) any pics of a light tan leather interior?

Yes, the parking assist is the annoying beeping thing. Lol. I'm not sure if ya can disable it. I'm sure you can silence it.

And I drove a 2013 that had the cargo box camera and I could see it when driving.

You can "Mute" the back up sensor alarm and leave the camera on for purposes such as towing, etc.

There is a button to mute it, and you have to push it every time you start the truck.

ITS HOME.....:banana-mario: picked up my 3500 6.4 SRW CC around 3 this afternoon. Didnt have a chance to get any pics yet, but I promise I will get some tomorrow.

I traded a '11 GMC 3500 with a 6.0. This thing runs circles around the 6.0. The ride was night and day difference between the two, but to be fair the gmc was a drw dump, so not really comparing apples to apples
Took me a while to find the remote single disk CD player..lol. Not that ill ever use it.
Really like the courtesy light under the mirrors. I reset the computer when leaving the dealer, and on the 70mi ride home with mostly interstate and state rts, it averaged 13.5. I can definitely tell when the 6.4's MDS kicked in.

Got some mud flaps to install tomorrow, and will be shopping for some nerf boards, as wife is short and needs a trampoline to get in the thing.

Very pleased so far..

I haven't looked through all 26 pages of this thread, but does anyone have a pic of how the throttle body is mounted? Does it still face up like the 5.7 manifold, or does it face towards the fender like it does on the Jeeps and cars? If it faces the fender, then I imagine it will be a few months at least before the intake companies start producing a kit that will fit. I'm also curious to see if there is room for the standard Z bracket mount for the catch can on the passenger side with the engine cover off.
