Bilstein and Fox make the best. Bilstein is much less expensive. Then you can also go the spacer route. There is no wobble. At most it is a mild vibration that happens at take off in 4WD. It does not happen in 2WD. Leveling kits do not make "death wobble". So, get your level on and have yourself a blast.

I stand corrected. In the two years I've been following this phenomenon, it seems Cruizer has a bad case of it. I will let him explain.

Rancho Quicklifts! I don't know why not too amy folks have em, aside from cost due to it coming with its own coils.

I can't narrow down if it's the 5100's though. But my vibration is bad accelerating in 4WD. I'm talking it nearly feels like a V8 accelerating on 6 cylinders it shakes so bad. You can even notice taking off slowly. Something is off. Thinking about dropping down to 2.1" and see if that helps. Don't really know what else it could be and I don't know if it did it before I leveled it because I hadn't used 4WD. Did say something to the dealer when I was in for my recall though and he said that didn't sound right at all.

the Rancho's are also on twintube shocks. A lot of guys prefer the monotube design in Bilsteins and Fox. The Old Man Emu twintubes are and have been peopular with the Jeep Overlanders for a long time. So, it's not like the twintube is bad or anything like that. It just seems that Bilstein is the rage for the time being.

I have similar story... Mine vibrates in 4wd upon accelerating.. I have a 2.5 coil spacer not bils. My dealer has told me the vibration is due to the change in the front axle angles... however I have a buddy with a 2012.. same kit as me.. and no vibration.. Wonder if this happens to random trucks... dealer has informed me there is nothing wrong in the front end..

My brother a licensed mechanic has also looked it all over. and found nothing loose and broken. He doesnt suspect the level spacer. but can't figure it out.

It does not happen in 2wd. or 4wd with slow acceleration.. but when getting on the skinny pedal a little extra she shakes the wheel out of your hand almost.

It is absolutely random. No one seems to be able to pinpoint the cause.

That's about how violent mine is when taking off. I had the front passenger axel out when I did mine because the boot came off and it was the only real way to get the boot back on because of the angle it was in installed. Where the axel goes into the differential it uses 3 keys. Makes me wonder if that angle and that setup is the vibration. Think I'll be tearing it all apart this spring though cause I'd like to fix it.

Question though. I see a lot of talk about front axel angles and them getting to steep. How can you correct this. Is there a way to drop the front differential? I just wonder how the guys do it with bigger lifts.

keep me posted in you do this.. I was thinking of ordering Bils and seeing if that fixes it..

And the bigger lifts come with new cross members that drop the diff and correct the angle issues.

Their lift kits usually come with all the new arms and joints that fit the lift properly and keep the angles correct.

OK. I'm confused big time here. Lol. I had asked about leveling kits for the 2014 ¾ ton trucks when I first got mine and was told that you can only use the coil spring spacers and the Bils were for the ½ ton trucks. Can you use either or on the 2 trucks??????

And that's is a good question I call the 4x4 shop yesterday and they said that they will install the spacer on the top of the coil spring and use a extension for the shock. After talking with the dealer today they said that their no parts to do a leveling for the 2014.

I no not to ask the dealer but she also came back and told me that this will void my warranty. I might have to ask around to see if I can get this done without messing up my front end.

And when I had my 2011 I only went for the 2.0' because I didn't want that but even at that when I first put it in 4wd it did it a little and when I got up the speed on it, it went away.

Procomp is for 1500's only. They don't have a 2500 listing. And that's where we are all running in to this problem.
