Got the mirrors washed, degreased, adhesion promoter and then primed. I'll sand em smooth this week and Hoping next weekend I'll have the time to get the paint and clear on.
I really need to invest in some good lamps so I can paint at night, only being able to paint with the daylight through the skylight sucks

just kidding, making good progress yet, but be careful man, you keep these tow mirrors off too long you may start liking the stock baby mirrors your truck has on it

I'm considering putting my stockers back on. These tows I got from LKQ have damage and the lenses are funky. The right side also flutters back and forth at highway speeds...

Yours are aftermarket, so they will wiggle when folded up, and some of them do have a less than perfect mirror lens, id run em till you replace them, you can get some nice ones for pretty cheap, my 4th gen style tows with LED signals in them were less than $150, and my 3rd gen style ones on my black truck with LEDs in them were closer to $100...

the 4th gen style ones i have dont wiggle, i havent tried the ones on my black truck folded up yet, but i think my bass has already messed em up lol

thats because you have the 4th gen style ebay tows, the normal 3g ebay tows wiggle like a miley Cyrus twerk at highway speed

It's funny I used to love my little stub mirrors but always wanted tows. Got them, put em on and wasn't really sure if I liked them or not. Took some getting used to, now I have my stubs back on and I can not freaking stand them! You can't see jack ****, they are ugly as sin lol there small as all hell, just all bad in every way

Well my right one vibrates at Hwy speed regardless of position. And my receipt is good until the 16th. So I think I'm gonna return them and just get new **** from the internet from now on aside from a pbt fender, tailgate, and bed if a cleaner truck rolls through that **** hole.

And like I said, the lenses are weird and have reduced my visibility and ability to have them correctly adjusted.
