I grew up in a privileged home as well. My father makes a lot of money and wanted to share it with us. When I was young he bought me sleds, atvs, dirtbikes, got me into hunting and everything I do today.

I don't get why this makes some people mad. Did this make me a spoiled lazy *******? Absolutely not. What it did do is push me harder to become successful and earn these toys for myself.

I went through and graduated college, got a great job, and now I can afford to buy some of these toys for myself. If I had some slacker father I'm not sure what I'd be doing today.

Just because some people have money and success doesn't give anyone the right to **** all over them. You made your choices in life, they made theirs.

End of rant :) lol

Sorry to pull away from topic OP

Here's my go fast parts list:
Trinity T1000 with hemifever tune -600
S&B CAI -300
MBRP cat back -550
Catch can (must have with tuner) -150

All of this worked together to get my Longhorn CC 4x4 to this 0-60 time. 6.18. I was pretty happy with that for a big truck!

Why is a catch can a must have with a tuner now..?

Also I think some people get their feathers ruffled by priviledged kids because 9/10 times mommy n daddy are buying them the toys they want but the kids AREN'T contributing members of society. My parents were quite well off too, but they paid my tuition and certifications instead. A gift is a gift, but it's the give a man a fish vs. teach a man to fish thing.

Best tactic I've ever seen, the one my dad used on me and I will definitely use on my kids. My dad made a decision years ago without telling me, if I worked hard and saved for my own education, he'd pay for it for me. If I pissed away all my money and didn't give the future two thoughts, he'd hang me out to dry and let me cover education with loans.

You could probably get away without it, I wouldn't though. The oil going back into the engine will lower the octane rating of the fuel and give you knock, as well as decreasing the amount of hp. Plus all that gunk is just nasty lol

Yeah I hear you. I bet that was a nice surprise eh! Good idea!

I can tell you as a kid I drove a piece of crap hand me down 78 Nova with a straight six and I paid all my bills as a HS drop out nonetheless. I am all grown up now, make more money than I EVER thought I would and have two boys 20 and 22 and albeit I cosigned for their vehicles (both less than 5 years old so I don't have to work on them) they made/make the payments, pay their insurance, gas, and maintenance costs. This does two things, teaches them responsibility and keeps them broke so they can't spend their money in bars or give it to the local dealer etc…………..
