Thermometer location?

It’s not that hot outside the truck. Where IS the temperature measured?

You’re getting radiant heat from the asphalt, or your truck if it is a dark color .... Does it come down to the correct temp once you are moving ?

The thermometer Should be on the underside your door mirror. Looks like a little plastics finger.
