Hi Guys,
First time poster here. I currently have a 2012 3500 MegaCab Longhorn with a deleted 6.7 Cummins with only 110.000 miles. I used to tow a heavy trailer but no longer need to and was thinking of trading for a different truck. My 2012 has been great overall apart from a few minor niggles and I still enjoy it just thinking of getting something different. I started looking at half tons (Ford Raptor and Tundra TRD Pro) just for something different and then watched a YouTube review where a guy claimed the PW was a better overall truck than a Raptor.
Wondering if a few things that bothered me about my 2012 are fixed on the 2020 PowerWagons? The niggles I have are;
* Weak bed rails and panels. The side panels dent easily and the rails are super weak.
* AC does not quite cut it in peak of summer here in Georgia.
* Transmission/torque converter started giving me issues around 100k
* Rear passenger side power window does not work sometimes
* Front end issues but these were mainly fixed under a recall
I tend to keep my trucks awhile so wanted to see if the 2020's have most of the bugs worked out? Appreciate any input.
Thanks
