Driving is badass and I'm proud of my truck! Filled it up the other day and have 70 miles on the tank and it's still on full :D How long does your gauge usually stay on full?

Lol colton, it goes down slow but once you hit half a tank it goes down hella fast. just wait till your at the pump and it rolls over 80$, then you can tell us if its still cool.

Would it be ok if I never let it go past half a tank?

Dont run it close to E alot because you will shorten the life of the fuel pump. Keeping it at a half tank and keep topping it off is safe and if you have to make a long trip you will be ready to go.

Yeah never less than 1/4 tank is the way to go...the fuel pump is cooled by fuel, and when the fuel gets too low, it causes the pump to run hotter.

Mine is just like yours though it takes a while to get it off the F...also, dont over fill the tank, once the pump handle clicks off the first time, hang the pump handle back up on the pump... Every 6,000 miles I like to run a can of Barrymans B-12 Chemtool through my tanks too...

I never let it get lower than halfway.... But one time I did just to see how much it would cost me to fill up from E to F...... $$$$$$$$

Depends on what I'm doing depends on when I fill it up. Long road trip yup full to the top. around town go to 1/4 then fill it.

i constantly run my truck to e and 0 on the overhead i always have on every ram i have had, i guess i like seeing the 80+ bill at the gas station. from my understanding the 3rd gen rams have a 2 gallon reserve type tank so when the overhead says 0 you still hve the 2 gallons. i have ran my truck way past 0 and never got more than 24.something gallons in it. dont worry my feet are resting on the wood table so its easy to knock on

my old dodge i would only put 20buck ins at a time because thats all i could afford and i walk to work lol so i dont need to much gas. Having it low hurts the fuel pump??

Man, just filled up the other day. $89.00 exact for about 25.XX gallons.

Drove about 70 miles today and I just around 7/8 tank mark.

BTW: Seafoam, increase my mpg by .7 just recently
