Throwing OBDII code 84

i looked up the code but it says 3 things that seem unrelated. knock sensor is one of them. noticed that my engine temp sensor not working too. is that on top of the engine behind the AC compressor?

what should I check?

I have to get the check engine light to flash the code with the key on/off 3x and read (count) the blinks.
iIthought it's obd-I because the OBD-II reader couldn't detect power. that threw me because iIthought iIwasn't getting power to thet computer plug.

plus it's not a digital odometer it's digits.

BTW. when iItype the letter "I" on this site, it puts a character after it. see the " iI" . ican get rid of it but it's a waste of time. the I can iItyped (see) does it sometimes as well. doesn't happen anywhere but this site!
