This only happens when I first start it up in the morning after it has sat all night. The ticking will last for less than a minute and then quiets down. I'm not sure if it is an exhaust manifold leak that goes away as it gets warm or lifters ticking. I will follow up with a video. Thanks for any advice.video

It is always a guess, so my guess is that it is exhaust, I am fairly confident in that, at least 90% so. Soon as you put heat into those gaskets they swell and cover tick. I would get a used oil analysis from blackstone just to see how the engine is wearing.

Is the heat shield tight at all 4 corners?
I would have the manifold done either way, if you get it before the studs snap it's a lot easier, it's probably just starting to warp
If it's a lifter you will know in a couple weeks when it misfires, but I doubt it's a lifter. Judging from the grill I'd guess that's a 2018, so you have the updated lifters and oil control selenoid, so virtually no chance of lifter failure unless you are very unlucky

The grilll is not original, not sure what year the grill is, bought it a while back and installed it cause I like it better. It's a 2014. I have an extended warranty, I will check and see if it covers the manifold bolts.
