tie rod adjustment sleeve for a 1992 w250

Does anyone know where to get one of these unicorns?

I bought these inserts to make my own:

... and sourced the DOM tube locally.

Many 4wd aftermarket shops can make these to order if you give them a length. Off the top of my head, thinking Off-Road Design or NorthWest Fab.

I have no custom shops anywhere close to me. I'm pretty rural. I did get a moog part number ds1410s but I'm having trouble matching tie rod ends due to the 18r thread pitch.

Wow. Didn't know they were still available.

I think the snafoo here is the parts listing stops at '85. The DS1411S is for the 3500# axle (Dana 44) and DS1410S is for the non-3500# (Dana 60). Mine is a Dana 60 and uses 7/8"-18 thread.

They seem to have it all at rockauto.


BTW, Those two shops I mentioned do mail-order business.
