Tints... How much did you pay?

Some guy quoted me $50, I hung up the phone. I don't want a ****** job. Someone told me that Suntek, Huper and 3M Crystalline are the best tints. I'm not sure how true this is. Any ideas?

A ton of shops near me have done the two fronts for $50. Most use solargard or llumar. The work on the four cars I've brought to one of the shops in particular was fine. Nothing to complain about especially for $50. Most of the 3m tint film is excessively expensive for no reason. I've been quoted at over $600 to tint my jeep...one question. Why? Go with the shops most used non-metallic film and be happy. Cheers!

I've paid $450 for tints before. They outlasted the car. Not a bubble or anything. I just don't want to cheap out and get something that I'm going to have to replace in a few years.

YUP. You get what you pay for. I've seen far to many ****** tint jobs. I can't cheap out on a brand new truck.

sorry your wrong my buddy owns the shop LOL should of been over 400 same guy that installed my stero

digital car audio hes done all our cars did the 4 runner 5 yeras ago still looks brand new today

but the truck is legal on both windows (already got busted once) and rear is the darkest you can get

Sunstrip, and all four windows at 15% in my truck and i paid 80. not sure what brand he used but they have been on for a year and there is barely and fade and not comming off

Ya even when i lived in jersey most windows not back were between 50-75 each thats not cheap not sure how it is where you live but thats average ive had cars done in nj fla and ga now back glass thats curved or has defrosters will be more but if you pay more then 100 a window your getting ripped off

Fronts to match rear - $80 Canadian ($72 USD) from my buddy who has his own tint business, would've been $100 otherwise. And he uses good stuff. All my vehicles have been tinted by him, and never a blister or anything.

damn some of you guys pay a lot for tint. I think i paid 125 for 18% on the two fronts and the rear window.
