Tire help?

Ok so I've been shopping around online for some tires that I'm thinking of getting. I think I've grasped the numbers so far.
Ex. 225/45/17
225= Tire width in mm
45= Aspect Ratio
17= Rim size

So my question is where do I find how big the tire is? Like now I'm looking fo 35" tires but all I see are those numbers!! ^ How do I figure it out?
