Any thoughts on Nitto Grappler?

I currently have a set of them on my truck 35-12.5/20. I like them pretty good tires. My next set will be RBP m/t’s or federal’s and if not those then it’ll be swampers in a 37-38”

Yikes. A simple question about tires leads to knowing a lot more about forum members and not nearly enough about which tires to buy.

Think I am gonna go Nitto, priced at $200/ea.

When the time comes I'll most likely get a set of Terra Grappler G2's in 35-12.5x20 or 18

I Apologize for the hijack. But it’s all in fun. I do think you would like the federal’s but the Nitto Ridge Grappler in a 37 would be a great tire for you. @SoCal has a set on his truck and they’re truly an amazing tire. Send him a pm and get his opinion. I think @JB1 is running them as well.

Oh, I can handle 20"

There’s your answer. A Nitto Terra/Ridge Grappler G2 37-12.5/20.
I promise you will love them

Alright here is my 2 cents worth. If you want a tire that will do everything you want, according the op description Michelin defenders are great but boring looking. The price is higher but they are very versatile and hold up. If you want cheaper less wear but a bit more aggressive look cooper ht plus. Hybrid ht/at continental terrain contact at would be awesome, had these and great on road, smooth and quiet, good for mild gravel, dirt etc, only downside was they pick up rocks on gravel roads. Hankook dynapro's are right up their with the conti's and do not throw rocks, pathfinder at, cooper at 4s are not as quiet. These all would be great choices for majority highway small non highway use. Oh and terra grappler g2's are good but will have a bit more noise, they are more at than ht. I have tried all of these except the pathfinder and that tread is almost same as dynapro. Conti's, Hankook, pathfinder are all 43-44 lbs each so mileage hit is negligible if at all. Bfg ko2's are hard riding tires no matter what people say, had them for a bit and took off for that reason, would only run those if a lot of winter and off road driving. Good luck.

Thanks. I think I settled on the Terra Grappler. Got a price of about $200/ea. Had been leaning toward the Coopers, but @ $12/ea more opted for the better warranty. Salesperson seemed to think they’d be quieter but sensitivity to noise isn’t the same across owners of the tire.
