So, the "what tires should I get?" Question comes up a lot on here. And I know everybody has different needs and likes. What is everybody running? Like em/ hate em? Mileage? And more important, what would be the next set of tires you'd buy? Thought maybe this could help some people out.

Fuel Octanes with Nitto Trail Grapplers is the only way to go.

Austin, love all the smartass comments, I do! But honestly, What are running, and what would be your next set. I know you do a lot of on/off road with your truck.

i've always ran an m/t tire of some sort over the years with the better to have and not need mentality but after the mileage i put on over the last couple years i'm going to pick up some chrome hostage 20's with an aggressive a/t tread for when the camper goes on just for better driveability and keep the stock 17 inch m/t on over the winters.i have the nitto's and will probably get the new nitto.

Also curious about the stt pro. How is road noise say compare to a mud grappler?

Sounds like a mud tire. As it should.

Still quieter than a terra grappler with 20k miles on it.

I'm on my third pair of duratrac tires each pair I get 45k-55k miles and road noise ain't terrible and they clean out good in snow and mud and grip really well on ice. I have this tire on my ram 1500 jeep wrangler and Ford 3500

Everyone here in Colorado uses those Duratracs. If I needed tires those would be my choice after seeing them perform

Depending on what type of tread you need and your budget, pick something from BFG, Cooper, or Michelin.

I also went with the Cooper ST Pro's after reading the great reviews.

They're an awesome looking tire & ride pretty smooth for a mud terrain.

I've only had them a couple of months so can't comment on what I'd get next, although I'm strongly considering the Duratracs as a winter option on my factory 20's.

And to add....they are also one of the lighter mud tires available.
