What is the best tires ? 20” I pull a travel trailer maybe a dozen times a year. Not a fan of Goodyear tires. Looking for something that will last and smooth ride.

My vote would go for Michelin Defenders---I agree about the Goodyears IMHO they are junk and are dangerous in wet weather.

:D every time this question gets asked the answer is Michelin Defender LTX

Michelin is a French company but if you buy tires in the USA from them they're made in South Carolina or Alabama.

Too many options out there personally I've had great luck with the falkens wildpeak at3w good all around tire for every situation, I tow my 24 ft camper is n the sumner and live in the snow belt so winter traction us a big deal. With these I don't need to have a dedicated snow tires I can run them all year and they have a 55k mile tread wear warranty so as long as I rotate them they last a long time. Ymmv good luck.

Mich Defender LTX is a great tire. I've been using them for years on my trucks, and just put a set on my 2018 Ram 2500 last Friday. Wear and traction are awesome. 70k tread wear rating.

I’ve had the OEM Goodyear’s and Falkens from about 7 years ago, both garbage imho, not the current Falken Wildpeaks though. I’ve had Cooper ATs for three years, better than the first two, my Coopers are not noisy at all and perform well in all weather conditions and are wearing pretty well, who knows I might try the Widepeaks next?

I'm getting the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W's installed today. My priorities are in this order: snow performance, towing performance, highway noise, mpg's, wear. Even though snow performance tops the list, I don't want a dedicated snow tire, for a multitude of reasons.
