Im buying new tires within the next couple of weeks, and my local tire shop told me my 2010 Dodge Ram Trx4 with a 2" leveling kit will swing 35" tires!! Anybody got this level/tire combo? I'm a little nervous that the tires will rub when the suspension fully compresses. Oh and I also got 1.5" wheel spacers for now until I get the $$$$ to buy offset rims.

You can clear the height but the width will rub
Your spacers would do the trick but i would ditch them for wheels ASAP

there is probably a chance that the front tires could rub at full compression of the suspension, but are you really going to be **** that often?

Thanks for the reply guys, guess its 35s for my truck soon!! Im either going with Kuhmo KL71 MTs or Fierce Attitude MTs.The spacers I have are good quality, hub centric and I've been using them for about three months now with no issues. I am still going for new wheels soon though. Thanks again

I have 35" Trail Grapplers on my '08 (yes I realize its 2 years older) with a 2.5" level. They only rub a little bit at full lock. I was worried they'd be too big and rub a whole bunch but i was pleasantly surprised and i'm really happy I decided to stick with them!

I had Federal Couragia's on mine with a 2.5" level at first and 0 offset wheels and I had no rubbing issues, 35/12.5 but they are a bit narrow compared to a trail grappler.

Ok so I have my 35" tires ordered, and now my buddy is telling me they are going to be too wide for my stock 17" rims. The tire I have ordered is calling for 8" minimum rim width. What is the stock 17s width, and will it be ok to mount the tires if the rim is only 7" as he's telling me it is?

Finally got my new tires on today! I went with 315/70/17(34.6") **** Cepek Crushers, as I got a good deal on them. No issues with rubbing, and I love them. They are quiet on the pavement, and the traction in mud is unbelievable!

you should be fine. only think i could foresee is if you have a problem with any tires the manufacturers warranty on them might be void since you are not within their approved rim width.
