TMPS sensor

Im about to buy some 35 inch Nitto Trail Grappler's for my truck. Will I have to get new tmps sensors or do you only get new sensors when you get different rims?

Only need them if you're changing wheels.

You don't even need new sensors with new wheels. They can be swapped from wheel to wheel to wheel.

Or you can just drive without them period if you can stand an extra tone at start up and a small warning light on all the time..... haven't gotten around to putting mine in the 24s yet... they're sitting on the kitchen table. Lol

I got 4 new ones on eBay for like $40 shipped it was worth it instead of paying to have them removed and swapped.

I was told from dealer that 13's have winter tire mode, if all 4 wheels don't have sensors after 10 starts or so the lights and warnings shut off

I've started my truck way more than 10 times....probably closer to 30-40 times and the warning and light is still active.

im not sure if its a canadian model only thing maybe, I haven't tried it myself as I run duratracs year round, if I find someone that has a full set without sensors that I can throw on for a bit ill test it out, I know my buddy's 13 journey shut off after a bit

Yes they will work. And your plan to swap them will work as long as you don't ever want to put the stockies back on. My light is on because I wanted the rims on and just haven't gotten around to putting the tmps in. They're sitting on the table with my DS Trinity.
