Hey Guys,

I just ordered some JBA long tube headers from Matt at Moe's and I can't wait to get them for my 2014 Express RC/SB 2WD. I had an idea but I'm not sure if it would be too loud. The JBAs I ordered do away with the cats. What I was thinking was bringing it to a good muffler shop, and have them make it true dual exhaust, add an H pipe, delete the muffler, and tie in to the factory tailpipes with the resonators. I really like the way the Hemis sound with the stock exhaust with the Mufflex muffler delete, however, I'm not sure if it would be too loud with the addition of headers and no cats. Luckily, I have no neighbours and only drive 5 miles a day. I will be using the truck at the drag strip the odd weekend and don't want to sacrifice performance for sound.

For everyday driving probably. If you want loud and good driving manners I'd go with mufflers and add electric exhaust cutout.

Ooh yeah it's going be loud, run a 22" Maggie or quieter muffler of choice and a cutout. My 18" Maggie went from tame to wild with my arh longtubes.
