Time to go aftermarket. But where to start? I'm running stock everything.

1) With a bezel from weedahoe can I buy a double din head unit?
2) What do I need to bypass factory amp?
3) I use steering wheel audio controls all the time, what adaptor do i need?
4) I have a sirius subscription I'd like to keep, what do I need?
5) Where can I buy the under-rear-seat sub enclosure boxes?

as for the steering wheel controls you need to make sure the ne hu is compadible with them. I know with mine the harness that came wiht the instalation gear from crutchfield had wires to connect for it. you can look for foxbox for under the seat i believe it fox acoustic.

For the bezel, you can just get the stock MOPAR DD bezel used for the NAV units.

Go to PacAudio.com, plug in your vehicle info and you'll see every optional harness you may need depending on what head unit and/or amplifier you install and what you need to keep the steering wheel controls if you replace the amp.

For Sirius, get a head unit that has a built in Sirius module or add one to your upgrade.

I'm not sure about the sub box...I have a Mega so mine is behind the rear seat.

forget Cap.

Forget cap? First time I ever head anyone say that. Why wouldn't you want a cap? So your lights dim during massive bass parts? Keep in mind I am running 2 amps with a stock 136amp alternator.

I was gonna say 1 Farad is too small. Thats only good for 1000w. My twin 10" RockFos P3 Punch subs use more power than 1000watts so i KNOW your twin 12" type R's will.

Nice choice with the equipment. you obviously did some research. You'll love the Boston Acoustics sound. Very nice.

Yeah I was a little concerned about that, especially when I have a separate amp for my speakers. I think I'll get a 5 farad for the subs amp and keep the 1 farad for the other amp.

yes, a cap is only a bandaid for small increases in a voltage burst...if lights dim, get a bigger alt or secondary battery.
