Total HK sound system upgrade

i Have the HK with the 12” screen. Over the weekend I ended up removing the factory amp, sub, door and dash speakers. Added couple new amps, subs, and added a focal flax 3way system using the factory location. Interface by maestro/dsr1. Used all factory locations for a stealth install. The amps are even hidden behind the seat. Will post pics of the box with 2-13tw5 when it’s ready this week. If you look closely you can see he amp through the vent holes where the factory sub was located. I’ll be replicating the vents on the other side.

I can hear the difference but not enough to worry about. Still a nice ride. No issues at all with the dsr1. Itbseems all the bugs have been worked out. Before I installed it I called maestro tech support many times with questions. It seems they have a ram locally they can bring in for testing if anything comes up. I will say there is zero noise introduced into the system using the dsr1.

In the front door are those 6.5 Focal’s? Could you have installed 6x9 there or is the 6.5” or less all that will fit?

Sorry I have t replied. I never got a notification.

A 6x9 would have fit no problem.
Yes that is a focal 6.5. It’s only duty is to play mid-bass. It’s only playing from 80-300hz.
No nothing in the rear. I was going for a pure sound quality build. I plan on entering this truck in audio competition.

Yes. You need to do your homework for sure to find the right shop. It took 3 of us 2 days with a total of 60 hours to finish. Luckily we were all experienced enough to tackle different parts of the install.

The box was made by a shop in New Braunfels TX...Audiosource. No. I did not retain all the alerts with my set up. Knew that going in. This is going to be a competition truck so the reason for the rear delete.
